Silver City Watershed Keepers
Silver City Watershed Keepers1 week ago
One of the ways the Watershed Keepers protects our watershed is through organizing litter cleanup programs. Our amazing crew of volunteers removed 7,570 lbs. of litter from our watershed last year! This work is critical to keeping our waterways clear of debris, free from pollutants like microplastcs, and healthy ecosystem for us and our non-human neighbors. If you'd like to stay up-to-date on cleanup volunteer opportunities, make sure to follow Silver City Pick It Up-Toss No Mas on social media. Our watershed is our home. A healthy environment and functioning watershed is vital, not just for wildlife, but also for our human community.
